It is certainly much in demand, yet, it doesn’t even exist. At least not at this point in time. I’m talking about the Tory Burch Outlet. The designer’s fan base, and I do include myself to that group, is desperately looking for a way where they can buy Tory Burch clothing and accessories at discounted prices. And actually there is a way and I will talk about that in a little bit, but it’s just not through an outlet.

The Tory Burch Fashion Phenomenon

Over the past two months I did some research on Tory Burch, or to be more precise, her success story. I’m not going to repeat what you can easily read up on at Wikipedia. But in a nutshell, this designer-extraordinaire started out modestly with crafting her own fashion out of her home. She found a niche that was underserved – classy, but not flamboyant, chic, but not too formal – basically a style that can be viewed as omni-applicable, it fits virtually any occasion. For instance you can absolutely wear the same pair of Tory Burch Shoes to a job interview or to your kid’s soccer match. Or when receiving an Oscar, in case there’s a chance you’ll get nominated. The point is, Tory Burch fashion can be worn to any occasion and by anybody. And that in my opinion is the key to the whole success story.

The Tory Burch Reva

Now, fashion gear comes usually with a rather ambitious price tag as we all know. Burch, however, managed to keep her merchandise at a price point where it is still within reach even for customers with thinner wallets. Yet, nonetheless, one of her blockbusters, the Tory Burch Reva (a ballerina-esque flat with the brands logo prominently displayed on the top) collection runs from around $90 – $235. Certainly very reasonable, but not necessarily cheap. However, whey I look around at work, most of my female colleagues do have one or more pairs of this particular shoe. And unless they get paid significantly more than I do, I know that their budget is as tight as mine.

But for people like us, Tory has a “Sale” section on her website where her merchandise is being offered at reduced prices. Well, those items are usually the “leftovers” of last season. I personally don’t care, though, it’s a great way to get what I want at a much lower price, so I am definitely okay with waiting a little bit.

The Tory Burch Website

Speaking of the Tory Burch Website. There are tons of scam-sites out there pretending to either be a Tory Burch affiliate site or sometimes they even go as far as using her logo and images to trick customers by making them believe they actual are the official Tory Burch Website. To make the whole thing even more confusing, some of those sites call themselves the Tory Burch Outlet. But as I said in the beginning, there is no such thing as the Tory Burch Outlet. These web-stores may or may not feature Tory Burch clothing, shoes, accessories, etc., but they are not outlets.

Who knows, I read that Burch plans to open more stores. And maybe she will at some point consider launching some sort of outlet. In the meantime I stick to her official site and check the “Sales” from time to time.
