I don’t know about you guys but the past couple of years have been really rough on me and my family financially. Due to our health issues we had accumulated a ton of debt and while we were able to eliminate most of it recently we still have a long way ahead of us. Finding new ways to save money – even on the little things – has become very important, and using free printable retail coupons can help you doing exactly that.

Here is the issue, though. When you go to a search engine looking for coupons you will get presented with an abundance of websites. So far so good, but we all know that most of them are completely useless. The vast majority of them are illegitimate sites that basically provide nothing but bogus links to other sites which then try to sell you something. And this is true for both, printable retail coupons as well as their electronic equivalents. Now with that being said, among all the nonsense there are actually a handful of excellent websites through which you can get some real cool goodies that can help you save some serious cash on a broad variety of things. At the end of this article I will list up a couple of those sources for you.
Electronic and Printable Express Coupons
I’m the only one in the family who doesn’t really enjoy shopping for clothes. My wife and my two step daughters can spend a whole day at the mall running from store to store ‘just looking’. One of their favorite retailers is Express. About two weeks ago all three of them went out to get new stuff and while I successfully talked myself out of it, I thought I give it a shot and look online to see whether there is such a thing as printable express coupons. And voila, surely enough there are plenty of them out there. I actually printed them all out, meaning all that had not yet expired and just handed them over to my wife. When they came back later that day they told me that eight out of twelve coupons that I had printed didn’t work, however, they were still able to save a total of $60 on a total purchase of $375. That’s 16% in savings which is not bad at all.
Printable Restaurant Coupons
Eating out on a regular basis can add up to a lot of money. We as a family decided to only order or eat at a restaurant on special occasions. This also includes ordering Chinese or pizza, because $20 here and $25 can easily accumulate to several $100 per month. And we actually felt the effect on our wallet immediately once we started cooking at home more often. But anyway, sometimes you just want to get out of the house and I also want to be mindful of the fact that after all it’s my wife and not me who does all the cooking, and she definitely deserves an occasional break from that. Therefore, I encourage you to either go online and check for restaurant coupons or pay attention to the ones that come in your regular mail. Once or twice a month we get a little book with restaurant coupons in the mailbox and in retrospect I must say that we were stupid because we used to throw it right into the garbage. That’s like throwing money out of the window, because these coupons are the equivalent to cash. Needless to say that we don’t do that anymore and while we still have no use for most of them, we absolutely hold on to the ones that help us saving a few extra dollars on our next visit to a restaurant.
